Newly weds, Laura and Jeff McCorkle married in Oakland Maine on Sept 16th 2017
If I could offer one piece of advice about planning a wedding, it would be to hire vendors who are positive, flexible, and have your vision in mind. Greg not only took amazing pictures but was happy to go with the flow and capture the energy of the day. We had a very large wedding party and he was efficient and positive. He captured all the spontaneous moments in addition to the more formal party pictured. He is truly talented and passionate about his work. I would recommend him a thousand times over. Before you pick your photographer, ask yourself if they would be willing to jump in the pool to a get picture for you, because MINE DID!
Weddings are a big deal. From the details to the large group of guests, a wedding is a celebration of the couple, their families and all the friends who want to celebrate their love. With my diverse background with events, commercial and portrait photography, I’ll take a photojournalistic approach with a fresh and diverse look to my imagery. l create impactful photographs that illustrate who you are and the story of your wedding day.
My success as a wedding photographer is in direct correlation with who I am as a person. By the end of a wedding I become family and a part of the big day. I never mean to, I’m there to do a job, but it happens organically. My favorite compliment I receive is the fact that I was non-intrusive, that no one really “saw me” as I blend in, but I still captured everything and seemed to be in the right place at the right time.
I’m in the business of capturing once in a lifetime memories and a wedding day is full of them. My pictures will document them all. I’m not like most wedding photographers, I stay untill the end. Most photographers will leave half way thru the reception or charge more money to remain. I will photograph all the big hugs, kisses, tears of joy and emotions to detail what you and your guests experience.
Every wedding is different, I don’t think I have had any two the same. I take the time prior, with each couple, to get a feel for how the day will unfold. These consults allow me to know exactly what the couple is looking for and to figure out who is who. I’m very versatile with manipulating light, and can work under any weather conditions. You will always be able to look back and relive every detail of your wedding day.
If I’m being hired to photograph your wedding day, rest assured I will be capturing the entire day including the last dance and send off and any other extracurricular activities that might unfold.
